The annual Fields of Faith event is set for Wednesday evening, October 12, 7-9 p.m., at the Cherokee High School football field. This is a free community event for teams, families, youth groups, churches and local organizations. 

Organizers of Fields of Faith believe that our world needs a generation that is committed to reading the Bible and applies it as their “game plan” for life. One can shift the momentum of the game, and ultimately change the culture. Attendees are challenged to take a stand, alongside hundreds of thousands of students, parents, teachers, coaches, and local businesses across the U.S., who will gather on their school’s athletic fields to hear fellow students share their testimonies, challenge each other to read the Bible, and come to faith in Jesus Christ.

Sponsored by Swords & Phelps Dentistry and Sosebee Funeral Home, this year's event features guest speakers, Matt Blaylock, Collins Dixon and Tony Nolan.  Echoing Angels will sing.
